European roulette odds

European roulette is the version worth learning. Thirty-six numbers and a single zero. Red and black pay 1 to 1, and they lose when zero hits. That is a house edge of 2.7% on those bets, which is as fair as a casino table usually gets. It is still an edge. A long red streak does not use up the zeros.

A straight number pays 35 to 1. The chance of hitting it is 1 in 37. The gap between 35 and 36 is the same edge, wearing a more exciting coat. People feel the straight as a different game. The wheel does not agree.

Roulette demo bets

  • Red, black, even, odd, and a single number.
  • Even and odd lose on zero, same as the colours.
  • The ball animation is cosmetic. The pocket is chosen, then the wheel eases into it.

Neighbour bets, dozens and columns exist on full tables and pay 2 to 1 with the same 2.7% edge. They are left off this demo so the first session stays readable. If you already know them, the cash wheel will feel familiar. If you do not, colours are enough for an evening.

Roulette betting systems

Doubling after a loss on red is called a system in group chats. It is a way to bet more. The zero does not get tired. A cap on the loss, set before the session, beats any progression we have seen players bring to the wheel.

Roulette red, black and straight bets

Thirty-six numbers and one zero. Red and black pay 1 to 1 and lose when zero hits, which is a 2.7% edge. Even and odd do the same. A straight number pays 35 to 1, and the chance is 1 in 37. The gap between 35 and 36 is the same edge in a louder coat. Neighbour bets, dozens and columns exist on a full table at 2 to 1. They are left off this demo so the first session stays readable.

The pocket is chosen, then the ball animation eases into it. A long red streak does not use up the zeros. Lightning Roulette is a different price on the straight, because a few numbers get a boost and the quiet straight pays less. If you are learning the wheel, stay on this page. Questions

Yes. When the ball lands on zero, red, black, even and odd all lose. That zero is the edge.

35 to 1, so a winning ₹100 straight returns ₹3,600 including the stake.

No. One zero. A double-zero wheel is a worse price and we do not run it here.
