Andar Bahar rules
Andar Bahar is the card game that needs the least introduction in this country. A middle card shows its rank. The dealer deals to two sides until that rank appears again. If you backed the side that received the match, you win. If you did not, you lose the stake. There is no draw to argue about on the main bet.
On this page the first card goes to Andar. Because Andar has the first chance, the demo pays Andar at 0.9 to 1 and Bahar at 1 to 1. A ₹100 Andar win returns ₹190, stake included. A ₹100 Bahar win returns ₹200. That gap is the whole “which side is better” conversation. Neither side removes the house edge. Andar hits a bit more often and pays a bit less.
Andar Bahar side bets
Many tables sell a bet on the exact number of cards before the match. The price looks rich. The hit rate is poor. The demo does not offer it, on purpose. Learn the main side first. You can lose quite steadily on Andar or Bahar without any help from a fancy side bet.
- The match rank is the only thing that matters. Suit is decoration.
- A run of Bahar wins does not make Andar “due”.
- Live dealer tables may take a commission or change the first card. Their felt is the rule, not this paragraph.
Andar Bahar hand speed
A hand is short. That is why a ₹50 stake becomes a large evening if you keep saying “one more card”. The loss limit in your account is there for this exact rhythm.
Andar Bahar odds
On this page the first card after the middle card goes to Andar, then Bahar, and so on. Andar pays 0.9 to 1 because it has the first chance. Bahar pays 1 to 1. A ₹100 Andar win returns ₹190, stake included. A ₹100 Bahar win returns ₹200. Suit does not matter. Only the rank has to match.
A run of Bahar does not make Andar due. Side bets on the exact number of cards are left off the demo. They look rich and hit rarely. Live tables sometimes take a commission or deal the first card the other way. Their felt is the rule. The main bet here has no draw to argue about, and the play credits never become a withdrawal.
