Plinko

You drop a ball. Pegs nudge it. A bin at the bottom sets the return. There is nothing to time.

Plinko rules

Plinko is a relief if crash games make your hand tired. You choose a stake and a risk, then you drop. The ball hits pegs and lands in a bin. The bin is the whole result. No cash-out button, no second guess.

Low risk keeps the bins closer together. High risk puts a large number on the edges and a very small number in the middle. People see the edge and forget how rarely the ball lives there. Medium is the honest setting if you want a session that lasts more than a minute.

Plinko low, medium and high risk

  • Low: from 0.6x in the middle area up to 2x on the side.
  • Medium: a 0.3x middle and 8x edges.
  • High: a 0.1x middle and 25x edges. Most drops will not like you.

The path is fixed as the ball leaves, the animation just shows it. Dropping again because the last ball “almost” reached the side is the same chase as raising a crash stake. The board does not remember the previous drop.

Plinko stake size

Ten drops, same stake, same risk, then stop and look at the balance. If you need the edge bin to fix the ten, you needed a different game, or a smaller stake.

Plinko has no cash-out

On Aviator you can leave early. Here the ball finishes in a bin, and that bin is the whole result. High risk looks exciting in a screenshot and expensive in a row of drops, because the ball usually finishes in the middle, and on high risk that middle pays almost nothing.

Medium is the setting if you want the session to last more than a minute. Ten drops will not prove the house edge. They will show you whether you can stop. Play credits make that test free of UPI. The cashier is a separate decision, and a drop that “almost” hit the side does not make the next ball more likely to get there.

Questions

No. The path is a series of left and right nudges. Risk changes the bin prices, not your aim.

Most paths finish near the middle. The price is low because that finish is common.

It widens the results. The edge stays. Big bins are paid for by the tiny ones.
